Name That Color Quiz

One of the ones I got wrong was a blank, the other was clearly Ivory but when i chose Ivory it said it was wrong :(

When I was a kid i used to be obsessive about organizing my crayons. Burnt Sienna was my favorite crayon color followed by Cobalt. As an adult, I've done lots of house painting. I remember every color name of every color I've ever painted my walls lol.

Hmm...
I have a few objections.

Auburn was not reddish enough.
Cobalt was not greyish enough.
Aquamarine was quite pale. It was hard to tell it apart from cyan.
Indigo needed more purple. It looked more like navy blue.
I always thought eggplant was a really dark purple....?

I've always been interested in color names. Plus, I've been interested in graphic design for a while now :)

I love the colour burnt sienna....

Do you often use crayola crayons?
I remember back in kindergarten we had an assignment were we were supposed to draw and describe a pet that we wanted to have. I chose a tiger, and was quite clear that his eye color was burnt sienna. I recall the teacher not knowing what that meant and insisting that I be less specific and just say brown so that people could understand me. I insisted that the normal brown crayon was ugly while the burnt sienna crayon I has used looked great, and that I would not want to mislead anyone into thinking the big cat's eyes were any less attractive than I envisioned.

Edit: I'm not quite sure, but this may have been the argument that escalated to the point of getting me put in time out for the first time ever at school, which I distinctly recall happened on my birthday.

Edit2:
After checking the wikipedia for Burnt Sienna and Sienna, I'm thinking it may have actually been raw sienna or dark sienna instead of burnt sienna. That, or crayola's color names or kind of off.

I do wonder how many people here have trouble with color. I know I am mildly colorblind when it comes to red-greens, although nothing that's uncommon. I don't seem to have any problems with it either being a graphic designer.

I'm surprised at how poorly I did. I'm sorta tempted to get my 5 year old's box of 64 ct. crayolas and see wtf.

Not only do I not know my colors but I also cannot use copy and paste properly.

Here are some results from a color survey :)

Hahahaha this is great.

In kindergarten my teacher made me cry every day
as she forced me to use my right hand rather than
my left.

Crayola only has burnt sienna as a colour. Neither
of the other two exists. I know. I'm a crayola expert.
Not kidding.

That was harder than expected...and I paint, so colours come naturally.
Some colours were off...Burnt Sienna was not burnt sienna. ):
