Next big technological advancement?

I get your point.

But how about we now turn every possible problem into a affordable service from a robot, since one might work so good, they will probably add it to much more possible problematic situations. Just to keep everything nice since i'd rather have my kids controlled by robots instead of real life knocking them down and actually let them learn something. Yes they might get a disease from a prostitute, but it will be your job as a parent to warn them about that, instead of buying them a piece of metal to play with. If they do get a disease, good, that's life they knew the risk, took it, and now get punched in the face for it. What's the purpose of going in the ring with a guarantee of knowing you're going to win and without ever getting hit? You won't even like the battle, because it wouldn't have a purpose, the outcome will just always be the same no matter what.

That is no life.

I am sorry but i do not agree with your point.
I am not sure when I even alluded to giving my kids robots to play with. Also, if my children have grown up and do seek to partake in those services, that's their problem, my role as a parent has long ago ended, and whether robots are available as an option or not, it won't be the deciding factor for them to partake in such things. I am having a hard time following the correlation you have made here between these things.

But what about the role of sex in love? Wouldn't we start to drastically undermine the quality of human relationships?

I don't think it will undermine it much more than it already is. The only difference is now more people that can't find love or even a woman or man to have sex with, can now f*ck a robot instead of solely jerking off to porn incessantly. I certainly wouldn't condone robots within my relationship, but there are people that would like that. It's like a safer way of swinging, albeit, I'd think less exciting since you know it's not a sentient being.

I think it’s definitely preferable to human trafficking, disease, and kids who grow up unwanted. That is unless AI gets good enough that they have wants and feelz.

Lol I think if that was going to be a problem the evolutionary birth of the right hand would have sunk the human race ages ago.
Lol. Point well made.

Next big technological advancement?

Mass produced mobile robot hands. It's all you really need in order to curb human trafficking, while also solving other pressing issues at the same time. We've already got a ton of the less tactile stationary robot hands slaving away for us.

There are all kinds of technology out there but to try to predict which ones will gain traction you have to consider who it is that controls the technology

Automation is predicted to strip millions of jobs from people.
The big banks are exploring blockchain technology as they intend to push into digital currencies
The left are talking about 'universal basic income' which would give a handout from the state to the masses of unemployed workers
In sweden they are already having microchip parties where they implant microchips into peoples hands so that they can gain access to their work places
So putting this all together I'd say that you will lose your job to artificial intelligence and will then be offered a state hand out of digital currency but in order to be able to use that digital currency you will have to accept a microchip into your hand

Satellites are being launched into space by google and facebook and their wish is to cover the entire surface of the earth with wifi
Your microchip will interact with that wifi field
There is also more talk of the 'internet of things' where all electrical appliances will communicate through the 'cloud' and all the data will be sent back to a central location.
Once you are microchipped you will also be another part of the internet of things
Elon Musk believes that we should have neural implants installed into our brains so that we can connect into the artificial intelligence and i suggest that once you do that you will be plugged into a different reality within the cloud

Hm... Maybe something with health care like growing human organs in the lab, so no more need for organ donation?

They’re actually working on this! :) It’s pretty amazing.

From what I recall, a group of lab researchers from Duke University grew human heart muscles, and Columbia University used stem cells to create a beating heart.

It’s all very fascinating! :)

You're right! Artificially grown human kidneys have also been created already. They even work in vivo! ^.^

The next big technological advancement will be that we will take charge of our own evolution. We will re-write our own DNA.

Oh yeah I heard about this! I’m really excited to see how that will all go. It’s absolutely insane!

I hope this works. This will practically eliminate the whole child organ trafficking market. Those fuckers will lose their livelihood of killing kids and harvesting their organs.

Ohh cool! Amazing. ^-^

Definitely really fascinating and will help save many lives in the future!

Awesome! :) This all is so exciting.
