You have to remember that they are looking to see if he fits into the definition of presidential qualification (i.e. if his parents fit citizenship requirements.)
Note the wording: "Barack Obama Sr’s non-citizen status would potentially disqualify Barack Obama from holding the office of U.S. President IF the following definition is applied:
To be a natural born citizen, one must have 2 parents who, at the time of the birth in question, be citizens of the United States. As Obama’s father was not a citizen, the argument is that Obama, constitutionally, is ineligible to serve as President."
I'm not sure where this definition came from or if it is even valid. It doesn't matter if everyone thinks the lawsuit is b.s. (I personally don't care that much b/c I won't vote for him anyway, but I am a resident of Georgia.) To me, not taking The Constitution seriously is a HUGE matter (no matter WHO you are.)
One other thing: This transplant will tell you that the south is NOT full of rednecks and if you are implying that they are at all uneducated or racist then I would challenge you to see how well Herman Cain gained popularity before he dropped out.
