Sad Melancholy Thread

I absolutely agree. :)

And oh yeah! I absolutely love vintage, old items. They capture that essence of a history that has long passed but also that sadness and nostalgia of an era that passed, and people who lived their lives to the fullest that are no longer part of this world. I love anything vintage. Something so bittersweet about them.

Rain at night is amazing. It rained here a couple days ago due to tropical storm Rosa, and I just remember just being soooo sleepy during the day because of how calming and therapeutic the rain and thunder was. I absolutely love it.

Hurricane Michael just went in effect for us here in Georgia. Definitely getting some heavy rain tonight and over the next few days. Also, have you watched Midnight in Paris? Lots of nostalgia in that movie and one of my favorites.

Oh crap, I did hear about that. How are y'all doing? I know Florida got pretty hard by it. I actually used to visit Georgia quite a good portion, especially around Savannah, and south of Georgia (Brunswick, Jesup, Jekyll Island, etc.).

Oooh I never have! What's it about? :)

And haha! That GIF :tearsofjoy:

I'm over near Atlanta. Not much of the devastation as Florida and Alabama, but we are getting some strong winds.

Spoiler Alert:

It's a surreal-romantic film about a modern screenplay writer that travels back in time and meeting his personal heroes and inspiration while battling his own life crisis. It's set in the 2010s and 1920s. Also starring Owen Wilson, Lea Seydoux, Rachel McAdams, Tom Hiddelston, etc.

Psychosocial is gold too and especially handy in the car lololol. I'm sure they looked at you with a big question mark on their faces!
I would love to see Slipknot and I don't blame ya for liking Corey:smirk:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue

Haha it was grand. I don't think they were expecting to see me listening to that type of music because I was wearing a girly dress, makeup, and curled hair haha. I didn't fit the rocker girl stereotype. I listened to a lot of hard rock and heavy metal during my teens when I was having a rough time, so it was good music to listen to when I needed to punch a pillow or something haha. Still listen to it for workouts and all.

LOL the poem haha!

Haha that's the fun bit! I don't think I could pull it off now though with my red hair but it always surprises people when we look like dolls and have Corey&co screaming at us :D
Mm, I feel you, it helps!! <3 Funnily though I started really getting into heavy metal after my dance instructor randomly had this fabulous idea to have us dance to Duality.. after that, I was hooked.

Here is the second part of the playlist of Dark Forest for any of you folks who enjoyed the previous one! Been listening to this while I am gazing out from my window as it rains, and working on school work and drinking coffee. Cheers!
