Scarred you for Life Children Songs, Books, Media...

I can think of a few.

This used to scare the sh*t out of me as a kid. What the hell was wrong with these animators? It's from Dot & the Kangaroo, a fairly tame children's video series otherwise.

Then of course, there was the 1970's Watership Down animated feature. My mama probably thought, "awww, bunnies!" and decided that was tame enough to show to a four year old. In fact, I found a youtube video that succinctly demonstrated why this movie was not for children.

Lovely, neh?

I think all those VC Andrews (Flowers in the Attic) novels I read voraciously as a child really warped my sense of humor. All that incest and drama and sheer ridiculousness... I got a chuckle out of it. I used to think the stupid sex scenes were so hawt when I was like twelve but then I got older and thought they were all silly and lame. I don't know what it is about 11 year old girls and VC Andrews. Its like a rite of passage.

and The Rock...at least I think that's what it was. I came out of bed late one night because I couldn't sleep and ended up watching this part where these soldiers got stuck in a room with this gas that started melting off their faces and stuff...yeah...>_>
Was this in a movie where they were stealing bombs, and then one of the soldiers dropped this ball and gas came out of it and they had to lock the door and saw him die while he was begging to be let out?
That scene scared the shit out of me, if it's that what you're talking about.
