Nah, I'd be attacking and defending in that thing. We don't have Halloween in Australia.
The armour is so that others can attack full force.

Shai I hope you are serious about this, because it sounds awesome.
Damnit I want that saber. I think I'd pick a green one, because of the speed and flexibility, and people wouldn't think I'm evil.
Until I backstab them.

I'm serious about it. But this armour and the robe, has to allow movement and vision clarity enough to be able to perform True Form in it.

If I was you I'd just get black robes. Speed and flexibility are a must, you don't want to be slower than your enemy because you're wearing armour.
Vader didn't really fight a lot when he was in his armour.

I love the jedi robes, but since you're a Sith Lord, I'd take black robes with a hood.

This sounds like a very interesting and creative endeavour.

Armour is a must, those lightsabers are heavy duty. They'll be able to hit as hard as a wooden training sword.
And that's kinda the point. I want something that I can look the part, and fight in.

However a robe that has 90% grey body, with 60% grey trim would be good.
I'm thinking elbow length sleeves.
I'm thinking open front held shut with a belt.
I'm thinking the robe splits at the back at the butt.
I'm thinking strong thick material, possibly hemp.
I'm thinking fishing weights sewn into the arms, back, chest and waist.

This is where I'm working on designs... When I get back from work anyway.

I've got a few more ideas now:
Black Ballistic Fabric (Kevlar) for the robe,
Strips of Kevlar over the Cuirass for additional protection and design,
Neoprene underlay for padding and waterproofing,
Reinforcing hard plastic strips.

This has to be lightweight, non restrictive and reinforced.

There's also a bit of paintball armour out there that might come in handy.

you do NOT need kevlar for the robe! Are you really expecting to be SHOT? no. Use a think material, but use a thick cotton. My fencing jacket is 100% cotton, and it alone can make it so that I hardly feel a blow that would thoroughly bruise unprotected skin. I think you're over estimating the blows you'll be getting.

Kevlar is also fireproof. That'll be necessary for some of the things I plan on doing.
For instance, having petrol across the ground, having it lit by someone with a sparkler, and then walking through it and igniting my lightsaber.

And can you imagine how cool it'll be to have a Kevlar Robe?
