Songs that are of an INFJ nature

This topic was tough to consider. There is obviously quite a bit of variety in what INFJs think is representative (thanks to those who posted, I enjoyed listening to the music). I decided just to share what I saw when I looked inside myself.

The first time I heard your Ulrich Schnauss choice (actually the whole album) it was like getting a spiritual massage through music. I can't completely explain it with words, but physically everything stopped and slowed in me. I felt like was in synchrony with something deeper in a way I usually am not. I was just being and breathing for that moment. Your other choice felt similar physically, and on a metaphoric level represented me in many aspects. It started out reaching to that same meditative place, but then at a later point it jarred me. It activated some of the more anxious and tense aspects of my experience. I generally appreciate music like this, but don't often choose it. Yet, it has an almost spiritually medicinal quality for me.

It's OK if none of that made sense. I just had to write it. :)

Just... wow. All of that made absolute sense, and you took from the music exactly what I would have explained if I were able. I was going to post only the Ulrich Schnauss song, but I didn't feel it was wholly representative of the other aspects of myself that you mentioned. Thank you for your response. You really kind of knocked me off balance by how precisely you described what I experience when I listen to those two songs. So cool. I'm glad you appreciate them, as well.

I went a bit mad, I apologize. Enjoy the songs if you manage to listen to them all!

Anything by Silversun Pickups screams INFJ to me. Or at least Ni and Fe and Ti.
It's very dramatic, emotional, layered, melodic with an underlying tone of sadness usually present.
Lots of weird lyrics that make no sense and are for the listener to interpret. Hidden meanings, symbolism, metaphors...

Well Thought Out Twinkles

what was that scar situated from afar
what was that light integrated in your mind
what have you done it's too early for everyone
wait for that sign spilling over and passed in time

come join in the last hurrah with open sores and open
jaw
find one last flaw and keep it safe and free from harm
what have you done it's too early for everyone
so smile go inside come to see there is no sign

now here we are revisiting
a time a place a whole industry well we
we promise we'll be leaving soon
we share apocalyptic views
how comforting that we feel it too
who are we to promise we'll be leaving shortly

come join in the last hurrah with open sores and open
jaw
what was that light integrated in your mind
what have you done it's too early for everyone
wait for that sign spilling over and over and
over........

This one always resonates with me. I wrote one of my best poems based partially on this song...
