Star Wars: The Force Awakens

This video combined the teasers and trailer for an interesting story line possibility.

Those guys reviewing the trailer were speculating the girl knew her history. I watched it again looking for signs of that idea and I do not think she knew who she was. The voice asking her "Who are you" is the old Princess Leia. This is going to be interesting....
@Wyote

It's not Leia? Do you know who it is?

I actually somewhat believe that the trailer has three different female voices in it, or at least two. The first being Maz Kanata, the second being either Maz again or somebody unknown and the very last line being Leia.

I also have a similar theory with the very first trailer. The first line being Snoke, and the second line being Snoke again or *maybe* somebody different(unknown/Benicio Del Toro).

Get on the hype train. Choo Choo motherfuckers.

I'm already on it, and I ain't gettin' off any time soon.

Choo choo motherfuckers, indeed.

I visit my family every December, and my three brothers and I always select something to watch during that visit.

We got us a good one this year.

I've just seen it... I guess the visual effects were cool....

Having always watched star wars I expected a more definite ending,
the ending it now had feels like one of those sudden 15 minute breaks you get in some cinemas to try and get you to buy food n drinks.
So I assume there will be a sequel to this.

there are also a lot of pointless details to props in the movie.
The girl carries a staff. It does not do a thing but its made out of all these technical looking parts.
It also seems to rather mysteriously find its way back to her throughout the movie though that does not happen unless the scene changes. It still feels a bit off though.

The new bad guy is a bit of an emo too. He was not interesting to me at all.
The new good guy is alright.

Oh and storm troopers still don't know how to aim.

IT was an "ok" movie, but story wise and with the ending it had, its about as good as tv series on the sci-fi channel only then one with a kickass VFX team.
Also what was up with the dialog in this movie. It was almost non-existent and did not really add anything... It also felt rather cut and paste.
Maybe a deluxe edition will contain deleted scenes like Lord of the rings had.

Anyway, That's just my opinion. Have fun people ^^
(It's worth seeing in the cinema just for the VFX though, so if you're into that than the story won't matter that much anyway, It's just that I did not leave the cinema being like YEAAAAAAH!!! like I normally do so I'm a bit disappointed in the movie..)

Art my man, :m039: <-- enacted with the utmost love and respect bro! lol
When you grew up watching episodes 4, 5, and 6... then had to suffer through 1, 2, and 3...at this point, as long as it's nothing like those hideous prequels, it's going to be amazing!

When will you go to see it man ? I'm curious what you will think after seeing it :p

I had heard the story was rather weak, but the characters were very likable and the movie had actual emotion to it, compared to the bland sterility of the prequels.

Any big surprises or was it a rather predictable film?

Predictable. Emotion-wise I'd say it's not that different from the other recent movies.

I won't see it until the crowds die down. Everyone who has seen it has said it was "OK".

No one is saying that it was awesome.

** sounds disappointing **
