[INFJ] The most typical INFJ movies

The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books and I know a lot of other INFJs love it too. So maybe the most recent depiction by Baz Luhrmann. Though I didn't really care so much for the digital/CG imaging, I thought the casting was stellar.

Not sure if any of these movies are necessarily INFJ but just some of my favorites:

A Little Princess
Inception
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Pleasantville
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Titanic
The Time Traveler's Wife
The Vow
All Star Wars
Mean Girls
50 First Dates
The Wedding Singer

and there's so many more I could list and plenty of beautiful cinematography that I have not made enough time to witness.

Terry Zwigoff films like Ghost World which deal with alienation seem relevant to INFJ people perhaps.

Ooooh God, there are too many that I like that I could list them all. I guess I have by now seen about 500 (no, it has to be more, we have at about 350 at home), and I hope it says a lot when I say that I don't voluntarily watch movies I know I won't like (which are plenty). And out of all of these, I couldn't tell if any of them were typical for any type. I could only speak for myself.

I'd say every Nolan movie is a good bet. Plenty of Ni material there.

Regardless of being an INFJ here are some of my favorite films.

The Eternal Sushine of the Spotless Mind
The Matrix
The Wizard of Oz
Rear Window
Wuthering Heights
Rebecca
Idiocracy
Office Space
The Accidental Tourist
Damage
Scandal
Zombieland
Shaun of the Dead
Welcome to Me
Evil Dead
Army of Darkness
Night of the Living Dead

I'm with you...I don't watch a ton of movies but you mentioned some of my favorites:
The Eternal Sushine of the Spotless Mind
The Matrix
Idiocracy
Office Space
Scandal
Shaun of the Dead

Also might add The Big Lebowski, The Princess Bride, STAR WARS & Inception.

Dark City
Fight Club
Inception
The Butterfly Effect
Memento
Arrival
What Dreams May Come
The Sixth Sense
Waking Life
Ex Machina
Ghost in the Shell
Cloud Atlas

Oh and I love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, too.

Perfume: The story of a murderer

I can't think of a better movie to metaphorically describe Ni.

People who know me well keep telling me to watch this and say, "Even though it is about murder, you should really watch it. You'll like it."
(I don't typically watch movies about murder or horror.)

Listen to your friends!

The mind of the main character is disturbing, but the movie itself is surprisingly light and humorous to be so dark and awful (and weird!)

For those who love feeding their Ni with sci-fi.
