I need ALOT of sleep in order to function to full capacity. If I don't get at least like 10 hours of sleep (8 is the bare minimum), I feel kind of off. Sadly, I am almost never able to do so.
I believe I have DSPS (Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome), because If it is before midnight, I can not fall alseep unless I am EXTREMELY tired. Even then my Ideal falling alseep time is between 2-4am and my Ideal wakeup time is between 12-2pm. No matter what time I go to bed, if I have to wake up before 9am, I feel comletely thrown off, and sometimes sick, and I will nod off all day. The bottom-line factor for me is what time I have to wake up.
It is usually easy for me to fall alseep, but if I am very worried about something, I can not turn my mind off and will fall alseep much later.
