Couldn't get this out of my head ever since I saw it. It's like fate: I got this book delivered today too.

Sirius... the most needless death in the series. Besides three of the deaths at the Hogwarts Battle. And by that I mean that I didn't want them to happen. They probably had their reasons for being, but these people were the ones I liked the most. The bereaved shouldn't have had to suffer their absence.

Did you mean Fred, Tonks, and Remus? Snape, I would have liked to hear a lot more from, too.

And, well, speaking of the scars of war, this is something that hit me pretty hard.

Yes, I meant them. And the fanfic being short is an understatement. I think I'll print it and lay it into my copy of the Deathly Hallows.

Mine (i.e. the only one I read and liked so far, though actually not anymore) has three books, counting about 2000 A4 pages. If you are silly, then my whole online persona makes me a perfect candidate for the psych ward, for beginning it half a dozen times and still not being sick of it.
