The courage to stand against something we don't agree with, yet feel that something is wrong and not on a level playing field, is good to have. Reactions can be limited by legal aspects, and some reactions may require force. Force may require planning and maybe moving some resources around to facilitate.
If Russia and Iran seek to be in Syria again, I ask what they did there in the first place? People should have the courage to stand away from former allies of Assad, even if on a very tight budget. If the current people trying to run Syria want them there after all is said and done, it makes me wonder about them and their goals. Plus, they attacked from Turkey.
Lasting peace, if there is that sort of thing nowadays, requires action. It could be achieved by using the right players, or by keeping the wrong players out. That would be a wise approach. With a little time, the world would have a better understanding on their goals. If their goals are to allow Russia and Iran back in, I think news will be coming our way.
Interim, I think it wise to step forward by stepping away from those fighting for Assad in the past.
Ukraine should never be stepped away from in their time of need. Putin cannot be trusted, according to his past. World leaders should stop from trying to gain control of minerals and such that are not theirs.
