Boston Tea Party! down with the oppressive regime from the UK. Tax this!

Fuck Kennedy. He is responsible primarily for the groundwork that enables welfare and entitlement mentality in this country. I care about human issues, but this guy made things worse.

That being said i'm an economic conservative.

Do we have an age limit on this forum? I'm getting a little tired of reading stupid shit from people obviously under age. Dictatorships? Give me a fucking break.

Used to consider myself a conservative, but I dont care about social issues like abortion or gay marriage. I only care about freedom, and my economic freedoms. Which aligns me more often than not with Republicans, but they have betrayed my trust enough times that I would never register as one of them.

Libertarian.

I am a registered democrat but I don't vote because the American election system is a joke. :(

I say fuck Kennedy for a totally different reason, primarily Vietnam. :m059:

And the bay of pigs.

I have edited in other options. If you've made a selection already, tell me what it was and I'll change the poll to reflect your new choice.

Oh, that explains all those parties. Well, thank you for doing that ^^

I'm not so sure if I understand politics enough to make a decision on what I am,

but I view things in a fairly humanistic approach. I tend to dislike politicians because I can't help but get the feeling that they want the power more than they want to the oppurtunity to help people. I suppose that power does give you more oppurtunities to help people, but I can't help but wonder what their primary focus is.

Most of my family are Republicans or something related to that, and so I grew up hearing those views supported thoroughly. Last election I registered as a Democrat, but only so I could vote for Obama in the primary. I'm uncomfortable with identifying with any party. I had a lot of respect of Colin Powell because he seemed like a clear thinker and not a sensationalist, but am not sure what to think of his record with Bush.

I think the ideal political scenario is one in which contrasting viewpoints are argued convincingly and with intelligence. Once a party or organization starts in with the fear tactics they have lost my attention. It indicates to me that they can't hold their position using reason, and so resort to irrational coercion tactics.

I don't know the so much about the ideologies of the parties in Usa. If someone could help me come to a conclusion, I would really appreaciate it!
I think I am quite liberal, and I support Obama. ^^
However, I took a political beliefs quiz, and I got 'Republican'. I'm not sure what it means but if republican is as in George Bush - Then hell no.
