What would be the ideal or most meaningful or significant gift for a female INFJ?

Being a realist Im not sure a puppy is the way to go. If the relationship doesn't last would the puppy (later to become a dog) 1) be a reminder\representation of a failed relationship
2) for any future SO be a reminder of a relationship that would cause tensions. I mean the puppy would be a symbol of the ...not so good? Is it really fair to place that significance on an animal?
 
Well, yes, they also chew things up, keep you awake all night, pee all over the place, and are generally a whole lot of trouble. (Not entirely unlike a new relationship, come to think of it. :D ) And you would not want the puppy to turn into some living voodoo doll for her to take all her issues out on, or a symbol of badness, if the relationship failed, which would indeed be grossly unfair to the puppy (dog). So, you're right, probably not really a good gift. I just like puppies.
