As a strange summer comes to an end and the wind whistles the welcome of Autumn, I'm already feeling myself getting SAD. But at the same time, I find Autumn to be the most beautiful of all the seasons.

I just have to stay on top of it by surrounding myself with things that keep me warm, films being one of them.

So I want to see what your favourite films to watch in Autumn are; hopefully I'll be introduced to some gems and hope you are too.

Here's mine:

  1. Dead Poets Society
  2. You've Got Mail
  3. When Harry Met Sally
  4. Legends of the Fall
  5. Signs

I missed the window here, but autumn is really just the passage to October and scary movies. I tend to focus on new stuff vs. rewatching favorites.

Here's what I liked/got nightmares from this past season:

Ravenous dir. Antonia Bird (1999)
Under the Shadow dir. Babak Anvari (2016)
In My Skin dir. Marina de Van (2002)
Censor dir. Prano Bailey-Bond (2021)
It Follows dir. David Robert Mitchell (2014)

The Legend of Bagger Vance
