Good point. :) That was the late 60s, though, when women's lib was beginning to get noticed; I wonder if that had anything to do with it.

It would be an interesting study, in any case.
 
I like clever one...Love actually, Four weddings and funeral etc...Bridget Jones...Sorry, USA, I definetly Like British romantic comedies more:)))

I think it actually might be cool to start a little movie club. It would be easier to participate than, say, the book club.

And I forgot to mention one of my favorites, Noi Albinoi. It's an icelandic film. A coming-of-age dark comedy/romance. Definitely not the typical light-hearted slapstick, but excellent nonetheless imho.
