Would you date a stripper?

Jokes on you Gale, male strippers are gay. You never had a chance.

Always a bastion of hope, thanks for helping me unrealize my non-existent dream of dating a stripper. Because if you hadn't told me I wasn't on their radar, I would have continued to visit the strip clubs with my $100 bills waiting patiently in hand in the front seat, hoping he would see me despite the room of admiring patrons, and choose my love. He would have called out, "Picke me! Choose me!" and "I would have said, "You had me at hello!" :m033:Now I will have to revise my bucket list.

A little dramatic.

A little dramatic.

Not enough Shakespeare?

Woe is my heart that it fears lost the warrior soul
The wounded pain that cries my eyes to tears
Unrelenting, for I sought a man unwanting of my spirit
And by default, partook of nothing
For he seeth my body as dust upon the sand
And I lay quietly to sleep in despair
Weep not for me Argentina . . . (oops, sorry, wrong century/story) :D

I definitely wouldn't date a stripper. I wouldn't even give myself time to fall in love with them because I simply don't want a stripping spouse lol neeeeext pls!

Simply different lifestyle and values.

Completely agree. Plus, men that are strippers are very into working out to stay fit which is fine but they always seem to over-do it. I do not like that steroidy look at all. Complete turn off. And they are obsessed with their looks and staying tan (tanning booths every other day). And it takes a certain type of personality to do that job. Definitely not the type of guy I would ever care to date. And that doesn't mean that I think they are bad people. But like you said: different lifestyle and values. It would never work.

I still do not understand how some women go crazy over men dancing around in banana hammocks. Gross.

Now that is the cutest banana hammock I have ever laid eyes on!

You know I had no choice but to write that. Curse you!!!!

I'd me far more likely to date a female stripper than a male one I think (considering it's the sporty female body type I'm into with women and more so the bearded dad bod when it comes to men lol).

I bet she would buy me the best gifts too! AND we would have awesome conversations because she is stripping to pay for college to be a biologist. She would name her pet cat Jet and it would break both our hearts just a little when we broke up after she graduates and moves to Atlanta for a job with the CDC. But we would remain friends and I would be the godmother to her second child.

What about tease-artists?
Apparently there are entertainers of both sexes, who don't actually strip down, but specialise in performance flirting.

like Magic Mike? OFCOURSE. :m164::mf:

What makes a stripper a worse person than an artist or someone volunteering? Sure there are things you might not like about them but they have other good sides too. I wouldnt make this a decisive factor when choosing who to date. I'd date a stripper as much as i'd date anyone else.

...@serenity is a stripper?

What an interesting question.

I'm not sure I would date male stripper simply because it's rather unlikely I'd ever be in a situation where I'd be presented with such an option. If, by some stretch of imagination, I was and the guy ticked all my usual boxes and he just happened to be a stripper... I think I would.

I've just deleted a fair bit of this post because I don't want to make my youth sound like an episode of two and a half men, so I'll just give the short answer, no, probably not.

I wouldn't judge someone on their career path, but their motives and values, however, are entirely different games.
