Hello there.Have you ever tried a ketogenic diet? I.e less than 15 grams of carbs a day, and instead a lot of fat, 60-70% and roughly 20% protein. When the body is deprived of carbs, it will shift the metabolism into using fat as energy, turning it into ketones. This lifestyle is centered around alot of animal protein and animal fatTakes some time, maybe 2 weeks for the body to adapt "fully". Going to try it myself as I don't function well on carbs, and most likely have insulin resistance to some degree which causes overproduction of insulin. Maybe you have insulin resistance, could explain why you have trouble dropping the pounds even with low calorie diets, as the overproduction of insulin stimulates fat storage.
