  • Heey! well, I have a cold, but apart from that everything is great! :D how are you?
It's sound fun to live in larger places. I'm used to being totally dependent on cars and buses. Norway is definitely more isolated, with a lot of small villages spread out across the country. When I was in the 10th grade (16 years old), we were only 8 people in my class, and we were one of the biggest in our school. Right now, when I'm studying at the university, I prefer the city. I'm very grateful that I grew up in a village, but I think it is essential that you at least once during your life get to experience the "big city life" ;) Germany sounds like that sort of place!
I feel the same way about winter! Hehe, they are very dark here as well. Actually, a lot people get slightly depressed during that season because of the lack of sunlight. I think it's called winter depression. Oh yeah, I've never taken the northern lights for granted, even though I see it all the time. They don't see it that much in the south though. It's more a Northern-Norway thing. What is it like to live in Germany? :]
Oh it's great! :D If you've seen the shape of it, you know that it's a "long" country, so the south is veeery different from the north. It's the difference between snow on the ground in may or sunbathing in may. there are not that many people, and we are hard to get to know. We're not unfriendly, but it's almost like the whole population is introverted. If you're on a bus, even if you travel with someone, we would prefer it if you gave us a whole row (to seats) if it was possible. The nature in beautiful! It's one of the things that made me love living in the north: glittering snow, the northern lights and mountains everywhere you turn :D do you still want to visit?
