This is an online tool that has all the important features of Photoshop, if you need it to edit your images:

You can also pick a background picture for any of the different surfaces, instead of color. If it's too big, it will load too slowly, so I chose a small well-fitting pattern, that suits the default skin of the board (light blue), and used it for the two major surfaces. On the area for writing, it is the same image but with high brightness.
To use images for background, you need to create special album for profile assistance and upload images there first. Then they appear in the corresponding field when you design your profile. Glad to help. (;
