  • I guess you can say that it was some sort of hidden hint. ;) I like wordplay. How are you? I feel like it's been ages!!
Both. Everything that is sharable is shared. This is why so many games look alike. There is a huge risk in making a game that is fundamentally different. Not only will it require three or four times the amount of work, but there is also no previous sales data showing that such a game will sell. Kind of sad, but I have high hopes for the independent scene to evolve.
Ah, ok. With the core game team, I meant the people working on code and art that is exclusive for this game. The game engine team works on code that is shared between all games from DICE.
Game engine coders are not included in the core team. They are about 40 people as well.
Haha, I guess the article does kind of state the obvious. Still it was interesting to see the results. By the way, thanks for the rep. :)
In general, the higher level zons in WoW are just harder. A bit darker yes, and more chaotic. The monsters move faster and the general feel is more unfirendly. I like the firedly feel better. I haven't played Blade of Darkness but I looked at it on YouTube now. It reminds me a bit of Shadow of the Colossus.
I played WoW every day for 2 months and got to lvl 40 something. Then I took a break for a year and now, several years later, I have a lvl 71-ish character. Haven't played for over a year now. The atmosphere is great, especially in the newbie zones. A little less so in the +60 zones. Part of the reason I stopped playing.
I guess I can't stay away from a good game and singleplayer is too tempting. I will have to follow the strict rule of not playing after 10 pm on weeknights. That actually worked when I was playing WoW a lot. Last night it didn't though. Lol. I really enjoy studying the theoretical parts of the game, buy I can only do that so much before I have to play myself. :-)

How do you know Artosis is an ENTJ?

Btw, you are not getting a new computer so you can play?
My fear with the engineered organisms is how they would interact long term with the environments they are introduced to. I'm really torn on the issue. One part of me says "we need solutions to our messes, and this is a way of taking responsibility" and the other part of me says "why are we messing with nature, when we are the ones responsible for its destruction. Is the solution to the mess engineering new life and taking the part of nature?"

Things definitely are being done, I'm just sitting here with a pessimistic attitude about it all (maybe I'm having fun being a doomsday advocate? :p ) I just get unsettled by how much we've taken over the world, and how we treat it as if humans are the end-all of life and evolution. We live in societies that make nature an enemy, and I can't see anything but bad times ahead for such societies. However, there is hope to me in the few remaining societies such as tribal and native cultures that seek to live in harmony with nature, rather than against it.

(sorry! I'm in a highly idealistic mood right now)
No worries - and I totally agree! Time to nip that racist nonsense where it starts. :D
I was thinking about what you wrote earlier about ENTJs. I know two people that are ESTP for sure. One of them is a lot (but maybe not exactly) like your description of ENTJs. So I'm curious how you would describe the difference between ESTP snd ENTJ.
ISTPs are introverts... and they have Se, which I think is fairly easy to spot. People with Si like to collect information ans ask questions with the intent of using it later. Se are more in the now and are good at reading body language and make things up as they go along.

I don't know a lot of ENTJs, so they are a bit elusive to me. I assume I would feel I have something in common with them (as opposed to ESTJs). The NTJs here are kind of interesting. But I guess there is a possibility that I confuse ENTJs with ESTJs sometimes. I haven't calibrated my compass there.

How about you? Any ENTJs in your life?
Well it was a hunch I got. But "Hunch" is my middle name, what can I say, I'm an INFJ. :-)

I know an ESTJ well, one of my dance practice partners. I have practiced with her for a year and a half now. She hasn't taken the test but maybe I will ask her to do it. I would be very very surprised if she gets a result other than ESTJ.

    1. She is very extraverted. (E)
    2. Efficiency is definitely her most striking personal trait. (Te)
    3. She has absolutely no Ni. (Si)

We don't have a lot in common at all, and even though we have met about twice a week for a long time now, no friendship have developed. Exchanging favours is a purely practical matter for her and not something she does because she wants to be nice. She sees no use whatsoever in dancing with someone that is not as skilled as her. Great practice partner though.

I have also worked with an ESTJ (also unconfirmed) for about a half a year very recently. She said straight out that she is selfish and that she thinks that all people are basically selfish but some people are better at hiding it than others. (I can see her angle, but I would say the matter is a little more complex than that.)

To summarize my experience of (assumed) ESTJs - they are very efficient, very selfish and do not care about people if they have nothing to gain from them in return. (And even then, it is not the person they care for, but the return.)

This may seem harsh, but I also think it is important to remember that "you can't blaim wolf for being wolf." In next life I could be an ESTJ.
Good question. Fi is one of the functions that I have the hardest time to spot with any accuracy, because it can take so many forms, from admirable to childish. (That's at least my understanding of it right now.) What I sensed in IdrA was that he took great pleasure and pride (a bit too much if you ask me) when the interviewer recognized him as a world class player. This could also be an ego issue that has nothing to do with cognitive functions, but it could also be a natural response of a tertiary/inferior Fi user. I don't know. What are your thoughts on how to spot Fi?
I saw an interview with IdrA. Maybe too young (20'ish) for having a solid type, but he seemed ST to me, and with a lot of Fi. Te is definitely an asset in Starcraft so I agree ESTJ is a good guess. Maybe ISTJ.
