thanks indigo for the rep! and the advice. I think I'll take it and just walk away from it now. I understand his argumentativeness somewhat though, because I too think pretty highly of my ideas and have a hard time admitting defeat.

it's very difficult for really innovative music to gain an audience, and needless to say to make any money out of it. I make music too, but sometimes things are so slow you consider giving up. And there's squeezing a full time job in the middle hahah. but it's all very rewarding when someone likes it, so i'll make sure she knows they have a new fan!
