And agreed, linguistic are funny, but I think your writing is especially well for a someone who doesn't have English as their first language.
I think the net gives the right lyrics, but the meaning... I was thinking something along what you thought, but when I think about it "You don't mean nothing at all" can mean "you mean something to me", which would change a bit of the song's feeling.. Well, intentional or not, it makes the song really interesting, and if it's intentional, it would be even more, no?
What is your first language? Double negation is something I haven't really used to, as a non-native speaker of English.

just wanted to clarify that i didnt say it was THE BEST. but it was damn close. only because, it's incredible how many connections and paths cross during the high school [as well as college] years.
but for me, it just had a magical aura around it. and although i dont speak to many, i do still see some of my high school friends quite frequently. -
