I'm not a fan of the entire system of likes, votes, etc that pervades the internet and especially social media. It seems to motivate feelings of judgement, approval seeking, social reward conditioning, etc.
I mostly use the feature to notify someone that I've replied to a post, if I haven't used the reply/quote feature.
