  • Hehe, It's just a game. And I understand. :D

That's cool! I only have Harley boots! :( But I want to learn to ride a motorcycle!
    Noooooo...
    *eyes widen in feigned shock*

*glances around suspiciously, then eagerly whispers: "How'd you do it?"*
DAMN, that sailor was you in Life Magazine? Can I have your john-hancock?
You ride? That would be so awesome! :)

My 2 teachers told me I.C. was a toilet at night... Is that true? :( They told me to stay away from there at night.
I'm trying to figure out a way to explain without re-enforcing what I'm trying to object. There was an implied theme in your post which is...hmm....I guess the only way to say it is a stereotype.
No. He never said that once. I was happy to talk to him again, but I ended up crying last night anyway because of how things are now. He angered me.
Expressing concern and pointing out a problem is the first step that's going to lead to tackling it.
Well, I think I got 4 hours of sleep. I had a class at 7:45 in the morning. And I didn't go to bed until 1 in the morning finsihing my homework and stuff.

Today, I am feeling very drained though. It's because my ex came back from his vacation last night and texted me til 3 in the morning. -.-"
I did get disconnect. :( I am sorry! I didn't sleep until like 4 in the morning. Then I woke up at 6 in the morning today. Did you sleep well?
hmm, I don't know if you need your SAT if you wanna apply outside of the US..

Sure! that would be nice. =)

Yes! Khalil Gibran is one of the writers I really like. I read a collection of his poems, and I read the Wanderer. Beautiful work. Didn't read Broken Wings or Mirrors tho. Let me know what they're like when you're done?
Awesome sauce! :) What are you getting? hehe, I would love to come over for supper! :D

    Work those robot legs!
Lol. Nah, I made it home all right. I am hungry though. The acid is bubbling in my throat. :( Also, my heart feels kind of heavy and sluggish. I should probably go jogging.

    How is your day going?
The Giver and The Alchemist are food for the philosophical mind! lol

They are good books. I don't want to ruin them for you, so I'll just say that they make you think of what life's really about (Most of Paulo Coelho's books do actually) and you'll like the ending in both of them.
    It's called VSO. Here's the link: http://www.vsocan.org/

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean. I don't see how that's negative, because you get out with a better learning experience, and I've been told that it's highly appreciated on the job market.

However, you do have to have a diploma of an accredited program when you graduate. For example, you'd graduate as a Software Engineer but you'd have had taken courses in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering as an Independant Student. That would make you a better candidate for a job at the Space Agency let's say than someone who was a regular student. Same goes with managerial or administration courses.

Yeah, money is going to be an issue...it always is.
okay, you really do talk like my ex-bestfriend, with "learning outside of school is better" and "find another country where education is less expensive"....I'm scared of you now! LOL

University is a whole new world of learning. There's a wide variety of things to learn, and the way they teach you leaves a lot of room for free-thinking and innovation. Where I go, you can apply as an Independent Student, and what that allows you to do is that you can choose what subjects to learn, without being in a specific program. So you're free to attend whatever courses you want. It was something I wanted to do, but you have to be at least 22 and there were other conditions that I didn't meet.

We have something similar to Peace Corps here, it's a great place to start.
