I know some people request bans because their security has been compromised. I don't know if that is Yield's issue or not though.
I think Y is going through some stuff, and being on the forum may've become addictive or is encouraging some form of dependency or disconnection from reality. I think he wanted to take a break, so he could sort things out, and come back more settled. I know, because I did this myself.
