  • Anyone care to join me in song? Nothing like a good ol' sing-a-long! 'the sun has got his hat on. Hip hip hip hooray...':P
Thank you, that is a nice outfit :D. I agree, broken vending machines are annoying. The person in my avatar is reaching for a pink heart :)
It's quite the opposite over here with overcast conditions. Hoping to fly over to a more 'tropical' climate tomorrow, but forecasts show gloomy weather so a trip to the beach is out of the question =( I like the elf in your avatar, did you draw it?
Yeah, the vibes are such a great sound, which I guess is why I play them... Not so hard to play. Well, I don't find them too difficult, but then again it is my axe, so I guess I have a bit of a skewed perspective on that. The Dylan Group is an old project that was me and the main guy behind Mice Parade. We just sort of morphed into Mice Parade at some point. Regarding recording, we did some of the early recordings with our own minimal home studio setup (which has grown more professional over the years), and some was recorded at a friend's super-pro "home" studio. (It's in his home, but some of his gear rivals the best professional studios.)
I am! And I am happy that I am!
About to make a drive to visit a grandparent of mine that has been depressed recently, so I'm looking forward to helping him cheer up.

Things are well for you? Being helpful as always? ;)
I don't know why things are chaotic, but It seems that whenever summer approaches everybody gets crazy! Which is understandable, considering that in 2-3 weeks the average temperature is going to be 36 degrees here... You started a new job? What kind of job? I always thought that when one has to make a new start, especially in business, a big ego is helpful. Even though I always thought that ego is bad for everything, it seems that people think that egoists are more dependable when it comes to work. I never understood why, or maybe I don't want to understand. I brought tsipouro! It's way better than ouzo. But we have to take it easy, it's a bit strong.
Vibraphone. Actually I don't think I'm on much of the Mice Parade recordings that are on myspace. I'm on some Mice Parade recordings, but not all, and as luck would have it the songs they chose to put up on myspace are ones I'm not on. I play live with that band all the time though.

ETA: forgot to say - glad you enjoy it!
Yo Elf! I've been out of town for a while, trying to relax a bit. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. It seems that whenever I am absent from my working/social enviroment everything is getting better and better, and the moment I return, problems appear. Total chaos... Anyway, how're you doin Elf? Oh, and.. yeah, I came empty handed to the picnic, but I'll bring beers the next time I stop by ;P
Well, here's a couple places to start:

    The Dylan Group

    Mice Parade

The Dylan Group is kind of defunct right now. In the back of my mind lives the idea to get it started again, but it hasn't happened yet. Mice Parade is fully operational, we just got off a short tour, and we're going to Japan in July...

If you want to know more, just lemme know! :)

ETA: I have no idea who put up the myspage page for The Dylan Group, so the "influences" sections should be totally disregarded. I like some of those bands, but I wouldn't say they were influences...
Sweet! This is turning into a picnic. All welcome. Bring a bottle (of anything you like - booze, sand, a trapped fairy, etc.). :D
You are welcome to any and all mushrooms that spring forth from my page. I will have a cup of tea, white chai tea with a little vanilla soymilk and a dash of cinnamon.
Just a hello and hug to those people who take the time to visit this page. Thanks for dropping by. Your presence is most welcome. :) Cup of tea?
Hi there. Sorry I hadn't said hi in a while, I didn't even have time to lurk. :) My family was visiting me from the States, and they just left today, so I'm back. I hope you're well.
Hello happy elf... So far the day has been quite the rollercoaster, but it's slowing down now. It was good to receive and thusly feel your well wishes throughout my hectic day. Stop by whenever to say hi.. It's nice, just like you are.
It's funny to see that you were delivered by stork. My uncle (who raised me) used to tell us that my brother was delivered by stork, from the land of the Gigi's and that my mother found my sister and I at the dumpster and felt sorry for us. He was joking of course, and loved to pick on us. But do you know what land the stork brought you from? What elven land that is?
Well, thank you. All I have to offer in return is a reciprocated hug and my friendship. I hope that for now this will be enough. *hugs*
