  • well the laptop is a goner... but the desktop will survive... it sucks cause i didn't have anything backed up on the laptop... not that there's anything super important on it... just some pics i'd hate to lose... but i think i may bring it to someone... just need to find the $$... i just spent 80 bucks on my cat today at the vet... i told him he had to give me 80 belly rubs in return but he said no D:
    100 [binary 4] computer scientists were asked to name a number between 1 [binary 1] and 10 [binary 2]. 11 [binary 3] said "there are none", the other one didn't actually have a degree.
    They're actually pretty clean on the outside....they spend a lot of time grooming themselves...lol.
    You can feel and hear it clawing it's way up to your eardrum....I would imagine once it got there it would be pretty painful.
    Sorry for that mental image (not really...lol) but seriously....what I said is the truth, it was usually a place that was infested....they were everywhere...but if you want to play it safe...buy some earplugs....lol.
    I have a degree, but it's in literature and philosophy. It was interesting, but people won't pay me to philosophize.

    It's a one year diploma course stuffed into four months so it's 9-5 with study in the evening. We're in a college with no air conditioning and it's 35°/95 Fahrenheit out. Learning is fun.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you work in IT. Did you study it in college?
    It's was for an emerging tech module in a cloud management and virtualization course.

    I could have done the paper on any kind of new technology, but I had to chose something I knew nearly nothing about but sounded cool.
    I do a little of this and that and nothing. Some times database work for hobby stuff.

    I worked for a dotcom startup in the 90s just out of school, it was a bit hellish, but I've always been sort of a hacker since I was 8 years old.
    I know you are, as are many of my friends on here...and it isn't that I don't have my own Christian beliefs, because I do...some places and people have it figured out, while many more churches can't seem to understand why they turn off people. It wasn't against Christianity as a theology...just the way it's been messed up by mankind.
