Hey man - yeah I'm cool with the decision. I think if I had gotten into it, there's a good chance I'd be miserable in it.
For now I'm pursuing some other areas of interest. If that's what I wind up doing long-term, I think it will take me a while to get to the final product. Probably about 5-6 years.
So how's school? It's been hot for a couple weeks but the cooler weather is a welcome change, eh?

No, not required to work today, I just am here because I know how crazy it's gonna get. And I'm glad the move went well! What time did you end up going into the halls? (And anytime in September would be good - things usually slow down after people have their courses)
BTW, I'm actually in my office right now working on paperwork. I'll probably be gone in a bit, though. Our next two weeks (until Sept 4th) will be CRAZY with walkins.

Not too bad! Lol - I've been thinking about you and Sunday Funday for the past few days. I want to make sure you have plenty of time to move in, so contact your residence hall (is it Honors?) and ask to see if you can move in after 1pm. I *think* they haven't changed their policies, but I've been out of housing for a few years.

Oh, and because if you get there "early" you get to set up the room the way you want it. Some people get all bent out of shape about that.
Oh, you can definitely show up later. To be honest, it's a *nightmare* to go early. LOL! I HAAAAATED those days - there were people everywhere, and maneuvering around was crazy. The only reason why people go early is to set up early. Parents must leave by 5pm, I think. So they all want plenty of time for set up.
