Well, I guess if you're into masochism, and some people are. (I'm not being sarcastic.) I assume that a lot of people just aren't going to want to put themselves out there if they already (think they) know they'll be rejected.
In contrast, it's interesting to me that you don't see looks as playing much of a role in dating. Do you really feel that way?
