I needed more space on my laptop and so was backing up my data with an external hdd. The hdd is corrupted, but I only discovered that after I wiped the data from my laptop. I got it from work, it was going to be sent to the shredder because it was a bit older with less storage than needed. I ran diagnostics on it and it seemed to be perfect for what I needed, but then...sigh. I'm using system rescue cd to see if it can be repaired.
Not yet. I've been kinda busy at work so haven't had the time to really look. Yourself?
