When it comes to questions like when was the earth created, you have one group arguing for the legitimacy of science and another arguing for the legitimacy of what they believe in their heart...that make for a heated discussion....and like I have been saying recently - who am I to say you are wrong and I am right? I would argue that the earth is indeed older than 6000 years, because I tend to lean toward science on such matters, but that still does not rule out the possibility, not that it’s 6000 years old (that’s pretty much a provable thing more or less) but that it could have ALL been created by or directed by the hand of God or Gods or whatever you believe. That is an unprovable thing, just like many of the discussion we have there....where I used to argue about such things (and I was pretty good at it lol) I just cannot do it anymore once it gets to a certain point, then the discussion turns to a cyclical argument to which there is no end, nor is there a conclusion that can be reached in consensus - so why continue?
You didn’t derail anything...people got their panties in bunches, that’s all. lol
I’m still posting there, if you are still reading.
