  • nice username change; of course i'm wondering why, but that's nothing new for me.
hehe, so it appears we have more in common than i thought.
well im sure you could make a vid, im half through mine if you want to see my first half. extremely obvious im nervous, but that's that.
it's not so much touching someone, as what they would think or who is watching. i always try to look to see who is a touch person or not. personally, touch is one of my highest love languages. but it's not so for everyone, and i don't want to make it awkward for others. but i can be very personal spacey at times lol
oh, and if it helps, you might wanna take a look at my most recent blog post. not that you have to, by any means
wow. you are the man saying it like that made it so much more clearer. granted i have times of both, but i think the best fit type is glaringly obvious now.
"INFJs want to define things, understand things, make decisions (so much that we often refuse to make them until we are certain), and put things in boxes. INFJs love harmony that stems from order, and having everything neatly defined and in its correct place, whether physically, intellectually, or emotionally brings us that harmony. INFJs feel harmony by making plans. INFJs are willing to suffer to help others - we are moved by a desire to help more than the suffering of others. INFJs will help when there is no need."

that describes me so well (except im not very physically organized.)
I want to understand and define things. the understanding i can see as being INFJ but i always thought the defining thing was an NT thing. People have told me that i spend too much time trying to define and understand something, which can cause me to think very black and white at times.

"INFPs want to avoid labels, avoid obligations, and remove things from boxes. I've noticed that labels, obligations, and even concepts in boxes are offensive to a lot of INFPs. INFPs seem to want harmony to result from all restrictions being removed and everything going in whatever direction it wants, constantly changing. INFPs feel constricted by plans. INFPs want to help others who are suffering - they are moved by the plight of others more than a desire to help. INFPs are motivated to help by need."

this describes me less. even though i want to help when there is need, i want to help all the time anyway. and things to transcend labels, but if a label helps something to be better understood, without hindering the thing or one being labeled, then it's actually a really good thing.

thank you sooooooo much! (i would give you a man-hug, but that could be a lil bit awkward :P)
i appreciate that comment. it is always nice to hear someone else's perspective. what do you think in short are the main differences between the two in a nutshell? yes, i've read the distinguishing INFJs from INFPs thread.
i would do the same. thats really E/I though. I'm stuck on the INTJ/INFJ/INFP think. i don't think i'm INTJ though, i care more about feelings rather than rationals, logic, details. then again i think i present myself more as an INTJ to kinda hide my Feeling function from others... INFJ and INFP though...hmmm...
i read the post. great thoughts...if only i could figure out my type now...:/
    greetings and happy Easter!
im planning on posting all my cognitive test results in one location soon, and since you seem to be out SME about cognitive processes around here, i was wondering if you could see any trends or shifts in results... (hope this is not a nag)
How come you don't show up in my friends list???

Anyways, I need your thoughts on when the J function manifests negatively in a relatiponship...
