  • Happy Birthday! Hope you have a day packed full of ENFJ awesomeness and INFJ significance :)
"How about we make some apple juice and fax it to each other?"

And after we drink it all, we can staple the empty glasses to ropes, hoist them as high as barn roof, and watch those flags wave in the breeze!
Ah, that's a good explanation. You are also not exactly the critical Ti, all the time, like ISTPs. This Ti-stuff is hard to get along with, for whom is not used to it.

Do you think other of the INFJs in here may be ENFJs?
The answer could be in your earliest years. ENFJs are more social / openly rebellious and tend to need to be always on the go / travel. INFJs in their youth seem to always struggle, a lot, it's probably part of how the types are formed. If ENFJ have most often IxxPs to influence them in the family, they may grow from the IP reserved approach, and seek early connection with society at large, as counter-reaction.

For some reason, I also think you could be ISTP, who happened to have worked very well the shadow. SPs are overlooked, they really do have strong Ni abilities, if they work on them, and some of the writers/thinkers with great impact may have been SPs.
Oh, so that's how it works! It makes sense. Because 1. you Ni folks tend to be reserved most of the time, even the extroverted ones; as if something is being processed under the surface always unknown; That gets us Ne folks quite curious, so we often ask what's going on there, which is apparently annoying ^^ 2. you strike suddenly from time to time with these nailed astonishingly correct summaries of reality, which make me feel that I couldn't formulate that well, even if I spent a lot of dedicated time on it.

But before all, it's an illusion of functionality that gets each side to be surprised and impressed by the other side's abilities. Sometimes I can't believe the explanations that it's "easy, and you can do it too", but it's probably right, it's not some supreme intellect, more like, different model of concentration of the efforts. It can look quite strange for the other one, almost magical, impossible, but it's not thaaaat different.

About the status quo thing, I usually see F/T-dominant types as more into doing, into results, so they tend to be more conservative on average. They want to use what works, now, and keep their weird theories under judging control. That's what I meant by it. However, they do have their own weird theories as well, and if you are ENFJ that just means that you feel secure enough in the nurturing creative environment of the INFJ world, to share such ideas while they are still raw.
Oh, so you are not sure? Hm. But there's one thing I overlook in the analysis - ENFJs are attracted (biased) by the status quo, moreso than INFJ. It's part of feeling great as community leaders. It becomes an obligation for them, because it's part of their vow to be strong for those they protect. And I'm not sure you fit that part so well, because you do develop very original systems of viewing the world, even sounding odd at times - which I in turn respect and enjoy very much.
Ah! You finally found out that you are ENFJ! :) Glad to see that! Sorry for having some clashes in the past, but I guess it was unavoidable. Cheers!
can you please take a look at this?

    Fe - 24
    Si - 21
    Fi - 19
    Ni - 18
    Se - 17
    Te - 16
    Ne - 14
    Ti - 11

it says i'm esfj, could an enfj go into esfj mode after being dumped by a friend or something? or am i just developing my functions differently?
Yes indeed it all makes much more sense, very nice observation. I am reading a lot of ENFJ descriptions and see that many are quite fitting. If there was an ANFJ type I knew it would fit me perfectly though lol..
Hmm, interesting that you think your an ENFJ now, I am going through the same thing, I really do think I am an ENFJ now.
