INFJ
I have been an MD in both public and private service for about 20 years. I became self-aware of being INFJ in the past year.

In short, I discovered I am not ‘weird’ after all.
I would like to get perspective from forum members who became self aware earlier in their medical health career.
I get emotional each time I think of making decisions which were later regarded out of ‘protocol’ or something like “ doctors don’t do that!!??”.

Ps: Please ignore grammars, english is my 4th language!!!

I know many people in the medical profession, including doctors, but have never known one that is INFJ. From my research on careers related to the INFJ, I don't believe I've ever seen it listed, but I'm sure their are some out there (obviously, you are one). Given that INFJ's are more rare as a type, you might be hard pressed to find them in any profession, and I suspect it would be even less [per capita] of doctors. I say this because doctors are usually much more logical and connected to the [T] side of the F/T dichotomy. I would suspect that you would more likely see INFJ as a nurse since doctors are trained to address the body, while nurses are trained to treat the person. Would you say you connect more with the nurses than your fellow MD peers?
