I listen to people who make sense, then I keep the information stored away to possibly use when necessary.

I often close the door when I find significant compromises in values and overall loss of integrity in some people who are in positions of responsibility mainly church pastors as well some other sorts, as for everyday people I tend to not care that much one way or another until they say or do something that flips that old switch to where I decide to write them off.
