I've been reading about comparative religion, and realized just how much of insights of the human condition have been re-discovered for thousands of years, by different cultures and religions. Has anyone else felt this?
I grew up in a non-religious home, with very little interaction with my extended family in China. Even though there are a lot of Asians here, part of the community identity is Christianity (see Korea). I guess I've always felt like an outsider.
Focusing more on mysticism and less on theology, has anyone else felt similarly about religion?
