You're right this does not mean much, but it does show progress in our checks and balance system. This is just a temporary injunction. The judge has not ruled on the constitutionality of the matter as of yet. Hopefully, the constitutionality of the matter will be decided; this will likely be further decided later on down the road, for this was an emergency hearing, occurring on a Saturday. Right now, it seems no one who has presently arrived with some sort of legal status will be deported back, but at the same time it is unsure if all of them will be released either, immediately. It's just a non-deportation order. This injunction although issued in New York, is likely to have nationwide effect.
