President Donald Trump

Oh the new York Times. Very objective news outlet. Not tabloid at all.

Now where the monkey emoji that rolls it's eyes?

It's ok. I don't need the ny times to tell me when I'm being lied to. I just wish you didn't either.

@Stu @Eventhorizon

Have you ever seen that film "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne? I always pictured you two having a huge bar fight, then having a drink. Then carrying on fighting.

I wake up in the night though terrified, that somehow I'll be left to pay for the drinks. It's true that paying for anything causes me stress. My dad was the same way. It must be genetic.

I like @Stu. Misguided though he is.

Can we be serious for a second. Has a President who has ever lived actually felt the loss of military personel? It's impossible. Let's say 200 die in a day. Do you know anything about those who have died? Anything enough to be relevant?
We would love to believe a President feels the loss of every person they send to war but the truth is unless they know them personally they don't.
Can anyone argue with this?

The issue is not empathy (though that is part of it) it is Trump's deliberate calling out Obama for the way Trump believes Obama treated the sensitive issue of acknowledging the loss a family endures when a loved one is killed on a military mission. Being a Moron is no excuse for moronic behavior. (there is a lesson there for everyone)

I just couldn't read all this through after seeing the "genius" label thrown at him. Just impossible. Sooo not sure if this is in here.

Why does he know so little? Because he doesn’t read books or even long articles. “I never have,” he proudly told a reporter last year. “I’m always busy doing a lot.” As president, Trump’s intelligence briefings have been dumbed down, denuded of nuance, and larded with maps and pictures because he can’t be bothered to read a lot of words. He’d rather play golf.

The surest indication of how not smart Trump is that he thinks his inability or lack of interest in acquiring knowledge doesn’t matter.

He said last year that he reaches the right decisions “with very little knowledge other than the knowledge I [already] had, plus the words ‘common sense,’ because I have a lot of common sense and I have a lot of business ability.”

Never heard of an intelligent man who claimed knowledge didn't matter. He'd rather golf than be better at his job.

I agree.

She flipped off President Trump — and got fired from her government contracting job

Good. I had to put up with someone hanging a picture of Obama in the main lobby when I worked as a contractor for the goverment. No one put a picture of any other President there ever. Someone put that crap up and when I asked about it they got all snarly and asked why in would ask if it was ok to have a picture there when there had never been one before.
She absolutely should have been fired. You were lucky you had a job under Trump. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Thank you President Trump. It is your leadership that is stimulating the economy to all time highs. America thanks you for pulling us out of that stagnant rut our last President forced us to live with.

How come wages haven’t risen then?
Jobs being created?
I thought it trickled down?

Yes...the stock investors, hedge fund managers, Wall St. in general are all getting giant hard-ons for this huge tax break windfall coming their way.
Has nothing to do with how well our economy is doing.
Unemployment is fairly low - wages have stagnated.
And now, they are going to raise taxes on the working class and poor all so they can gouge the public more.
Do you really honestly think you are going to see a raise, either monetary or via benefits if your company gets a huge tax break?
Yes...”leadership”...that’s it.

And Trump saying that he is going to take a hit from this tax break is pure refined BS.
Him and family stand to save over a Billion while they cut healthcare benefits for poor children.
So hard for him...

You know... Trump is turning out to be a damn decent President. Congress is getting set to pass the Conceal carry reciprocity act, getting ready to declare Jerusalem Israels capitol ( didn't dems say Trump hates jewish people? Huh you know or was that just more fake damn news?) Taking care of North Korea, passing comprehensive tax reform. You know this time in unmentionables Presidency (um you know the terrorist to American interests aka Pres 44) he was bending over taking it in the rear from North Korea.
Yep, looks were going to have 8 years of Trump. Assuming McDonald's doesn't kill him that is.
