Have you weighed out how many lives will be lost by a bad economy though? If I told you we would lose more lives by suicide as the result of poverty, loss of insurance and access to necessary health care and services, low resources and on and on....if we calculated it out and realized wow long term we actually lose less lives in a war than we do with a terrible economic crash, you'd be ok with that?"Saving the economy" at the expensive of lives.

I'm not saying that's the case but I'm trying to point out that it's not really about saving lives for people who don't want to go to war, because if it was actually proven that going to war would indirectly save more lives it doesn't change the perspective. Meaning you don't actually mean what you say- it is not about saving lives, it's about something else.
