Well, it's more instrumental...

The first time I heard this song on the radio 25 years ago, I broke down and burst into tears. It hits me in my gut. It made me think of all the oppressed cultures around the globe and in my back yard. I was 20 something years old and the truths I learned in college of Columbus, the US, Hitler, Stalin, Mao was horrifying and seared into my soul. Couple that with what we Europeans did to the Native Americans right here in my back yard would often make me want to throw up. As an example: They used to beat my grandmother and her siblings for speaking their native French language when they were in grade school.
Tears are flowing down my face as I listen to it now….

Silent Running.
Can you Hear me? Can you hear me Calling You.
…”Swear allegiance to the flag
Whatever flag they offer
Never hint at what you really feel
Teach the children quietly
For some day sons and daughters
Will rise up and fight while we stood still”…

Ironically this one even though it's the one I walked down the aisle to at my wedding. Oh wait, that'd be why. Happy tears though.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaVwhG5ygss&feature=related"]YouTube - The Time Has Come (Pikachu's Goodbye)[/ame]
Okay I have to kinda give the background for those who don't know, Pikachu had met a bunch of other pikachu. Ash (the boy) makes the tough decision that he should leave his pikachu with the wild pikachu. Right before the song starts he starts walking away trying to sneak without Pikachu knowing. The other two children say "That's crazy" "My mind is made up" but Pikachu catches him. He pets him and tells him "I'm sorry but.....GOODBYE" and runs and then the video starts. Killed me as a kid. I get chills from those first few notes and want to cry. That's also the only pokemon episode that I actually remember the title of. Crazy huh?

explination: I was depressed when I found this song and it expressed it perfectly. Lyrics that get me "You don't need to bother, I don't need to be"

By the Way-Theory of a Deadman
As I said in another thread, my dad changed between elementary school and middle school. I think my real dad is still somewhere in there, and that's who this is to. lyrics that get me- "Now that you're gone it's easy to see, but so hard to believe" "Would it have hurt you to try?" "By the way, you left without saying goodbye to me"

When I'm gone-Eminem
The whole thing is really emotional but the climax is when I started bawling. This is probably one of every traveling musician's fears. Lyrics that get me-second verse until right before he wakes up from this nightmare.

My Child-Disturbed
This one you have to know the story behind. The singer got his gf pregnant. It opens with a baby crying. The first verse is him getting mentally ready to have the child "Doubt came over me what kind of father would I be? I knew the time had come to stand up and be a man" Well the kid died out. The second verse is him watching it happen and this is when I started crying "Her face was horrified, you struggled, still alive. My one desire was to trade my soul for yours, grief crippled me, the reaper cheated me" You can literally hear how desperate he was, and in the chorus you can hear how crushed he was. "Why was it only in death, were you redeemed, my child?" and finally the very end. The flatline....
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vGGWjgI_pc"]YouTube - TRAPT - BEAUTIFUL SCAR[/ame]
Beautiful Scar-Trapt Reminds me of an ex. It sounds just like him hehe. The term beautiful scar sounds like something he would say. This one isn't as much of a sad one for me, as much as it's soo freaking sweet, and it sounds JUST like him. It's kind of a release. Black Rose by the same band does it to me too. It reminds me of the same guy.

Alright I think that's enough of them. haha Oh wait one more:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybo9335ImbU"]YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Clairvoyant Disease[/ame]
Avenged Sevenfold-Clairivoyant Desiese.This song is basically my thought process that is the start of my depression and how it progresses (sometimes into suicidal thoughts) The whispered lyrics really get to me. "As you sit there and do nothing, you are content with doing nothing" "But in my life I wanted more" that's pretty much the start of it. "thoughts are haunting me as I look around, this will never end when I bleed forever" "Don't acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong this spot in hell's where I belong" "The outside shell is strong, confident, but slowly eats away." "There's no where to run and hide when you're living to die, stuck alone inside your head, better off dead, the phone would ring in the empty house, no one's around" "but in my life I wanted more, I needed more, I tasted more"
really the whole thing gets me but those stick out in my mind.

No. I stopped broadening my German hip hop horizon around ... 2002 or so. Around the time, I hate to say it, German hip hop seemed to become overwhelmingly Americanized. All style, no substance.

Have you heard of Bushido?
