Except you didn't keep it civil. Your thread was dishonest. You presented it as a debate thread, but as soon as I disagreed with you, you began accusing me of one thing after another, and you made it clear that your accusations weren't because of what I said or did, but because this is what Paul says about unbelievers. You kept pigeonholing me, and pigeonholing me.

Here is the truth. You don't like people who aren't Christian. Further, you think that their not being Christian justified you in being nasty to them, or even crossing the line into emotional abuse, for no other reason than you think "this is the truth." It's been a long, long time since I've run into a Christian as judgmental and prejudiced as you are.

What you didn't count on is that I simply don't put up with abuse. I gave you multiple chances. Your chances are now used up. You are permanently gone from my life. I'm quite certain you aren't going to miss me.

Only problem with that is you were making assumptions about me before I said anything against you. Go read the first couple pages... You said,

But, I get it. You don't want to be called out. Some people can handle being called out and some people can't. I've had lots of people call me out on things in this thread. I don't hold it against them at all. I expect it.

I wanted to debate the resurrection of Christ. No one else wanted to do that...

I am pretty sure I said explicitly that I was going based on what you said. When I appealed to Paul, it was because it was relevant to the conversation.

I don't have a problem with non-Christians. I'm sorry if you think me disagreeing with people's ideas and behaviors is abusive. IDK what to say to that...

IDK why me saying things you don't like is abusive. Yes, everyone sins. Yes, I want people to know that. Yes, it is core to Christianity (for orthodox Christians). No, I don't hate you or anyone else on this forum.

When Ezekiel talks about the bride being cut up into little pieces in Ezekiel 16 is literally in the Bible, talking about Jews, whom I love, and you say I am being abusive because I said you are prideful it just shows that you can't take criticism, honestly. Not everyone is good with criticism.

But, I am "abusive..." There's some extremely harsh language in the Hebrew Bible, so I have no idea where you get off thinking I am being abusive...

Coincidentally, @meowzician , the tone of your speeches changes based on:

who you are facing

whether or not the current speaker accepts your vision

whether you start with personal attacks (like with Quick from the very beginning of the thread)

whether you preach something that you yourself are unable to follow

whether you manage to refute the other person's initial thesis with further "sophistries," without ever reaching a logical conclusion (meaning one that is backed by facts or consistent. You lack both. This is not an insult, it is an objective fact necessary for the purpose of this analysis)

whether you believe your sophistries can make someone else look ignorant

And this is just regarding your attitude. The fact that you have such a grudge against Quick, and that you treat him this way, makes me wonder.

I don't think they hold a grudge against me. I think it's probably the first time in a long time anyone has called them out on anything and they are sensitive to that.

I don't expect them to reply to me again at all. They might respond to others in this thread, but I would doubt they would want to be part of this thread at all atp.
