Sure tell people they are wrong and sinners is no accusation it is only the truth.

I cannot 100% tell you you are wrong. I can only say that to me meeting people where they are at is all I can do.

I am not educated in such a way as to be like 180 in bible IQ, the only things I can do is be nice to people when I I'm not being bipolar.

Maybe you wish to make a thread on moral failings called: How sin is going to make you not be with God instead, because this thread is not about facts anymore just accusations.

I got 30 seconds into this and couldn't take it anymore. Ehrman completely ignores 1 Corinthians 15, which is dated to about 5 years after Christ or sooner. Convenient fact ignored by him. Also, he is only one scholar. He may be the most well known NT scholar in North America, but he's not dealing with the Minimal Facts here. He's dishonest. He is, as Jesus says, "straining a gnat to swallow a camel." I haven't actually used anything from the Gospels in my argument so it doesn't address the argument by Dr. Habermas at all.

That's actually false. The arguments that Ehrman gives here are talking about discrepancies and contradictions in the Gospels. That does not even touch Dr. Habermas' Minimal Facts.

I'm sorry, but you don't even grasp the argument. What Ehrman says can be 100% true and it doesn't do a thing to Dr. Habermas' argument. That's the point you don't seem to get. Dr. Habermas is not necessarily even using the Gospels. He's using evidence that virtually all scholars agree with whether they be Christian or Jewish or Atheist. Habermas only uses data that everyone agrees with. He's not saying, "The Gospels say it, so it is true." He's saying, "All these scholars agree with these facts. How do you explain these facts?" Again, Ehrmans could be 100% correct and it doesn't even address Habermas' argument one iota.

I have observed quite a bit from QuickTwist during my time here, but "has no heart" has not been one of those things. That is a rather bold claim to make. Everyone is welcome. We debate things here like the resurrection of Christ. That's the aim. So, while everyone is welcome, ideas may be combated. Not all ideas are created equal. There are good ideas and bad ideas. I think the good ideas will rise as the cream does. I will make a concerted effort to be more gentle on this forum.

Yes, it was too extreme.

I will not do that again,

in the face of it I just cannot accept sometimes that people think things about me and others that are not true but I can accept that I should not be so extreme even if I disagree. People can think what they want, I could be wrong they could be wrong but I should not do bad behaviors. I am sorry about this an all else.
