Trifecta

I like:

-RPGs (including both regular and MMO)
-Action games, including FPSs, Platformers, and fighting games
-Strategey (regularly addicted to chess); I love Age of Empires II.

So yes, I definitely like gaming.

Same really.

  1. I prefer real time RPgs, then normally turned base rpgs (Typically JRPG but I do love some western rpgs)
  2. Action games outside of first person shooters and platformers, they tend to be boring to me.
  3. Strategy games that aren't boring. I liked Fire Emblem and Valkyrie profile recently. I tend to prefer micro management I believe. I only want to focus on my units, I don't want to make sure that I have enough builders to keep a random base up right. Perhaps I haven't played the right macro strategy game though.

It sounds like your only experience of online gaming is WoW.
no, haven't played it, actually; not an American. But in here, every single game is played..that way. At least, the way I see it. Any other type of playing is seen as useless or something...

You're very close. I at least prefer action compared to a slow moving game. I think the Ti-Se dominace probably helps me think on my feet.

INFJs would typically prefer RPGs I'm guessing.
I prefer RPGs, strategies, and games like Civilization or Sims, but I do like Dynasty / Samurai Warriors and the type.
Don't ask me to play sports, tho; I'll drop the controller in one shot then run. FAST.

I'm a pretty hardcore gamer for a female. I played WoW for a while, but I've kind of taken a break the last few months. I'm not quite as into it as some people get. I love RPGs, but I tend to really like RPGs that bring puzzles into the eqatiion. Right now I'm playing Maniac Mension (take a nostalgic moment, I'll wait...)

on my NES emulator, and I love it, but I'm STUCK! And I'm too stubborn to look up hints until I'm completely hopeless, but I'm getting to that point. =/

OMG MANIC MANSION!

Don't put the hamster in the microwave!

I have played board games and computer games since I was little. I have always liked RPGs and turn based strategy games the most. Nowadays all strategy games are real time but if I can pause them and select actions while paused I can play them as turn based anyway. I dislike adrenaline and don't fancy FPS, although that is what I currently do at work as a developer.

I'm delighted to have seen some great mystery/puzzle/chillout games from independent developers popping up lately. Hope to see more of that and I would very much like to be part of developing such games.

A few examples:

My favourite, Machinarium. Really really cute and I fully recommend that you play the demo. You can play it in your browser. http://machinarium.net/demo/

Night Train. This is not out yet, but looks really promising.
Night Train is the story of a woman's journey into her memories. Having fallen asleep while riding the train, she begins to remember her past, and slowly pieces together why she is on the train in the first place.
