Ha yes, they are cool instruments. Btw a cheaper alternative is the kalimba, higher tones, but it has a similar flavor imo.

Unacceptable! Lol The deeper tones and sustaining notes resonate in the soul. I've found some cheap tongue drums for around $150 but I'm not sure about the quality. Real handpan drums are incredible too, but those things are thousands of dollars I think.

*There's also instructions online somewhere to make a tongue drum out of an empty propane tank. I thought about doing it once, but it never became more than a thought...
