What if mother nature...?

What if Mother Nature was the actual mother of any of each of every specie on earth, but not humankind?

And one day, she came to us and said "Dayum. You're adopted".

I'm actually curious as to know : "what possibly would happen in this very specific situation?".

How would human react? What does it mean about us? Etc. What's the philosophy of this?
