From Reddit...
I've been around the block several times. Work to live don't live to work. Seperation your ego out of your occupation is the healthiest thing you can do. Kick up dust, quit, move somewhere else.. It's all the same shit. Make as much money as you can for as little work as possible and devote as much of you energy to the things that matter, your family, friends, home, hobbies, community, w/e.
The moment a company can figure out how to get rid of you and replace you with AI or a robot they will, all the HR team building bullshit is just that, bullshit.
You need to work to get cash. I see my work more like scavenging or hunter gathering, it's just a survival mechanic so I can support myself and my loved ones.
I've been supervisor, I've been demoted, promoted, hired, laid off, relocated, bought and sold, praised, scolded.. It's all just a circus carousel, horses going around bobbing up and down.
Breath. Accept. Find peace and enjoy your life where you find meaning.
