Since the book is free I never needed a license to look at it.

That was the whole point of the reformation was to give the book to the masses without authority to determine what it means to the individual from atop.

There is not even rules in the book for what you have to do. Its just there for guidance. Which everyone takes upon themselves or not.

Language has always been something people have trouble with because no two people even understand the same language.
 
Look, honestly, IDK how @Wyote classifies themselves. I was going based on what I THOUGHT, meaning, I didn't think Wyote classifies THEMSELVES as a Christian. I maintain, however, that if you don't believe the Bible, then you're not a Christian.

G he is just asking how someone can be a Christian if they think the bible is fictional. That's absolutely true, you cannot. It would be like a Mormon who doesn't beleive in the book of Mormon.

But I don't think Wyote thinks it is fictional.

I do understand as well what he means though about plucking what you like and don't like from it though. As believers we are to accept the word as a whole truth.

Already did. My original comment wasn't about what I personally thought about Wyote, it was that I didn't think Wyote themselves views themselves as a Christian. Then things got a little heated, and I said some other things. Then I said I didn't know Wyote labels themselves as a Christian, but I maintain that if you don't believe the Bible, then you are not a Christian.

Now, why would I say I didn't think Wyote sees themselves as a Christian? Well, basically, when you see some people representing things that are more or less from Satanism, that's a pretty good clue, don't you think?
