She is mostly "happy" but the depressive [and self loathing] is intense when it comes. It is as much a spiritual thing as much as a Biological/neurological/psychological thing. All of that are facets of the same thing. Our religions fail us, our medical doctors fail us , our therapists fail us...we need our Muses.

That's beautiful to hear <3 not that she still occasionally experiences depression and self-loathing. I wish she didn't have to feel those things. But we are only human, and I am so glad that has found peace and sobriety, and that she has you there by her side. I wish that more children had their parents by their side

I think after what I have seen in this world, I don't expect much from religion, medical doctors, therapists. But I should expect better from them

However. While they fail us, there are still good people here. Sometimes it just takes a while to find them

I recall being highly intrigued by game theory in college decades ago. Soon thereafter, I studied relativistic ethics. I have yet to uncouple the two.
