I can definitely see RZA as more directive than adaptive as well. And probably INFJ.

I can see RZ as such, though I relate to all the INFJ interests and I consider myself an INTJ...well, maybe with the exception of numerology. Meth strikes me as too weird to be esfp. Entp or maybe enfp.

He strikes me as an INTJ. He is confident, but it is instilled by virtue of his skills- particularly through what he considers evidence (rhyming, battling results). It appears he is a Te user, the question is whether that is his dominant or supporting. His views on giving back to me sound more Fi and his less materialistic stance seems like an inferior Se rather than tertiary Se. So I lean towards INTJ.
Interesting you ask about GZA; he is my favorite (though I also like Method Man- ENTJ?).

They could be equivalent, but I do think the ordering is very important. Otherwise there would be no difference between INFJ/ENFJ/ESTP/ISTP.

Yes, that would be ideal. I guess that way more people would take it seriously as well.

I keep getting confused over the J/P distinctions. If we look at individual types...
IxxP (IMO analyst, IYO analyst)
IxxJ (IMO synthesist, IYO synthesist)
ExxP (IMO analyst, IYO syntesist)
ExxJ (IMO synthesist, IYO analyst)

Or perhaps I'm confusing Analysis/Synthesis with Directive/Adaptive. Actually, I'm pretty sure I am confusing this with D/A.
